Running Light Software

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Running Light Software (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Resolved — our business phone and messaging service at www.runlt.com and the Resolved iPhone app.

Resolved is a tool for businesses and their authorized managers. It is not a consumer social app and is not directed at children.

1. Who this covers

We handle two kinds of information:

For end-customer information, the business that holds the Resolved account is typically the organization you interacted with. We process that information to provide the service to that business. If you called or texted a business and have a question about your data, start with that business. Account users should contact us at the address below.

2. Information we collect

Account and sign-in. Phone number, name, role, location or business membership, verification codes, and authentication tokens. Sign-in uses a code texted to your manager phone number. The iPhone app stores sign-in tokens, your Apple Push Notification token, and Live Activity tokens in the device Keychain.

Calls and voicemail. Call time, duration, numbers involved, routing outcome, caller identification (name, address, and line type when available), notes, tags, resolve status, recordings, voicemails, transcriptions, and AI summaries. If in-app calling is on, the iPhone app uses the microphone so you can answer and place calls.

Messages. SMS and picture-message content, delivery status, templates you send, translation of messages when that feature is used, and conversation resolve/archive history. If you attach a photo in the app, that image is uploaded and sent as part of the message. The app uses the system photo picker; it does not get ongoing access to your entire photo library.

Contacts, forms, and resources. Contact records the business stores (name, numbers, email, notes, custom fields), resource pages sent by text, form links, and form answers including uploaded files.

Device and notifications. Device type, app version, notification preferences, and tokens needed to deliver call alerts, message alerts, and Lock Screen / Dynamic Island Live Activities. We log app and web activity (for example, which screens were used) so businesses can see how the product is being used.

Support and operations. Messages you send us, diagnostic logs, and security logs (such as sign-in attempts).

We do not collect precise GPS location, your iPhone address book, advertising identifiers, or data for third-party ads. We do not use the app to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

3. How we use information

4. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share information only as needed to run Resolved:

Service providers are allowed to use the information only to perform work for us or the business customer, not to market their own products to you from this data.

5. Data on your iPhone

The Resolved app stores sign-in and push tokens in the iOS Keychain. Call and message content is loaded from our servers while you are signed in; it is not used to build an advertising profile. Signing out removes this app’s tokens from the device and stops app alerts for that account. Microphone access is used only for in-app calls. Photo access is limited to images you pick to send.

6. Retention

We keep account, call, message, recording, and related records for as long as the business account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal and operational requirements. A business may archive or delete records from the product according to the tools available on their account. You may ask us to delete your manager account as described below. Backup copies may persist for a limited time after deletion.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to a hosted phone and messaging service, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and token-based app sign-in. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please keep your signed-in devices in your possession and sign out if you leave the team.

8. Your choices and rights

If you are a California resident, you may have the right to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” as those terms are defined under California law. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, email us from the address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity. An authorized agent may submit a request as permitted by law.

9. Children

Resolved is a business service. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International

We are based in the United States. If you access Resolved from another country, your information is processed in the United States and in the countries where our providers operate.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change, and the current version will always be at www.runlt.com/privacy.cfm. Material changes will be communicated in a manner appropriate to the service (for example, in-product notice or email to account contacts).
